The Key to Love
Is found everywhere
The key to enlightenment or salvation is to find the place which does not change—in any context. It’s found everywhere. I’ll call it the Source. Then, once found, the job is simply to return to the Source again and again. Eventually, the Source will become the foreground while the rest of life keeps going. The natural byproducts of being saturated in the Source include all the most wonderful things in life—joy, happiness, fulfillment, feeling the depth of all things, being present, compassion, internal equanimity. They occur effortlessly. No force or subtle hiding behind a corner of the psyche. Authenticity and genuine expression all emanate naturally from a being saturated in the Source.
For Christians, finding the Source makes the pursuit and practice of the greatest commandment simple and effortless. Find and know the Source and all the effort of being good or believing something is washed away. This is because the Source is Love. The separate, tiny identify of self starts to melt and becomes less important as encounters with the Source increase. Eventually, one realizes that Love is not a pursuit or a practice. Love is who you are. This is the good news.
